Tori Jimerson, in the middle of the above photo, was named the Goliad Elementary School Teacher Difference Maker for February and recognized during a school board meeting Feb. 14. With her, on right along with Principal Shelby Taylor on left, is Regina Henning who was named the staff Difference Maker for the month.
In anonymous nominations, people wrote of Jimerson, “Tori is an incredibly hard worker and a great team player. She not only plans our GT showcase every year, but she tests all of the GT referrals which includes an entire grade. In addition, she is passionate about planning the NASA field trip for her fourth graders and puts in a lot of effort to make sure they have an amazing experience. Thanks for being awesome.”
Of Henning, anonymous nominators from the school wrote, “Regina is such a blessing to have on our campus and the ultimate in taking one for the team. Not only does she work with some of our more challenging students, but she is willing to go and sub in any classroom at anytime. She was vital to me in my first year at GES. She helped me learn the lay of the land for sure. Thanks for all you do.”
